Chelsea told what they'll have to pay for Romelu Lukaku having sold him for just £28m

The Blues have been regularly touted with a move for a number of strikers this summer, most recently Romelu Lukaku, who has already had one stint at Stamford Bridge

Despite spending more than £40m on a striker this time last year in the form of Timo Werner, Chelsea are thought to be in the market for another forward.

Werner has struggled during his debut campaign in West London, often criticised for his lack of composure in front of goal and ability to spurn some glorious chances.

Though the Blues are unlikely to cut their losses and axe Werner just one year in, the German could find his playing time drastically reduced, should Chelsea lure Romelu Lukaku back to the Bridge, despite selling him for just £28m in 2014.

However, the former Chelsea star's potential return will not come cheap, given reports in Italy indicate the Blues will have to part ways with around £102m if they are to stand any chance of Lukaku's signature, enticing him away from Serie A champions Inter Milan
