Man Utd 'putting plans in place' for Harry Kane and Erling Haaland transfer swoops

Man United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer lines up blockbuster transfer raid next summer - with Tottenham talisman Harry Kane or Borussia Dortmund megastar Erling Haaland fanciedOle Gunnar Solskjaer has been a busy man this summer, with a mega-money deal for Jaden Sancho signed off and a swoop for Rafael Varane nearing completion.

But the Manchester United manager has already been plotting a blockbuster deal for a striker - with Tottenham star Harry Kane and Borussia Dortmund ace Erling Haaland earmarked for a future switch to Old Trafford.

United currently have Anthony Martial, Edinson Cavani, Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood in their attacking ranks.

Rashford and Greenwood are often utilised as wide-forwards, whilst doubts have emerged over Martial's future after a number of dismal displays.

Cavani is in the twilight years of his career, meaning Solskjaer will soon turn his focus to securing a new number nine.
