Report: Thomas Tuchel considers unobtainable 27-year-old as his dream Chelsea signing

 Chelsea might be in the market for a new centre-back, but Thomas Tuchel’s dream signing is very unlikely to materialise this summer, according to Goal’s Nizaar Kinsella.Despite their impressive defensive record under Tuchel, the Blues might still have to look at potential defensive reinforcement this summer.

This is largely down to the risks of losing Andreas Christensen and Antonio Rudiger whose contracts will both expire next summer.

An earlier report from Goal mentioned three players on Chelsea’s shortlist; Real Madrid’s Raphael Varane, Sevilla’s Jules Kounde, and Bayern Munich’s Niklas Sule.

Interestingly, Kinsella claims that the player that Tuchel wants the most is not even on the list.
