Erling Haaland signed a Man Utd shirt amid intensifying transfer links against Chelsea request


 And with links to Haaland at an all-time high, he fuelled speculation when a picture emerged of him signing a Manchester United shirt.


Haaland signed several shirts, including a Leeds United shirt like that worn by his Dad, Alf-Inge Haaland, as well as Napoli and Molde shirts.But it was the presence of a United jersey that captured the headlines and led many to believe he would soon join Solskjaer at Old Trafford.


It never happened as he joined Borussia Dortmund – although United could get a second chance in the future.

Man Utd close to appointing new assistant coach

    Interim Ewan Sharp was presented to Man Utd manager Ralf Rangnick at the New York Red Bulls, and Sky Sports News has learned that he will come from Lokomotiv Moscow; watch Newcastle at Man Utd live on Sky Sports Premier League & Main Event next Monday at 7pm; kick-off 8pm. According to Sky Sports News, the former Toronto FC coach is scheduled to join from Lokomotiv Moscow, where temporary head coach Ralf Rangnick worked before to his debut at Old Trafford.
