Report: Chelsea agreed to sell attacker for £38m but demand buy-back clause in potential deal

Chelsea would want to include a buy-back clause in a potential €45million (£38m) deal with AS Roma for Tammy Abraham, according to Corriere dello Sport.

The Italian news outlet claims that Roma general manager Tiago Pinto has travelled to London for a meeting with Abraham’s agent Neil Fewings.

The report claims that Pinto’s main objective is to convince the 23-year-old to join Roma instead of his preferred summer destination Arsenal.

Meanwhile, there is reportedly no problem in negotiations between Roma and Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia.

Jose Mourinho is said to have played a role in this, thanks to his relationship with the people at Chelsea.
