Report: Chelsea could lose teenage talent; Tuchel previously stopped him from going on loan

Chelsea could lose yet another academy talent in Tino Anjorin amid a reported €10million (£8.6m) transfer offer from Russian club Lokomotiv Moscow, according to The Athletic.

A number of former academy stars, including Lewis Bate and Tino Livramento, opted to leave Stamford Bridge to pursue chances of breaking into first-team football elsewhere earlier this summer.Similar to Bate, Anjorin is yet to be officially promoted to the first team but has often trained with Thomas Tuchel’s squad.

The 19-year-old is also in Chelsea’s 26-man Premier League squad, and unlike Tiemoue Bakayoko or Ross Barkley, for example, he was still given a squad number (27).However, a breakthrough season at Chelsea still seems very unlikely for him, given the number of attacking options Tuchel has at his disposal.

The Athletic claims that Lokomotiv Moscow has now presented Anjorin an opportunity to potentially play regular football outside Chelsea.
