Kai Havertz's debut season at Chelsea ended in fairytale fashion.

Havertz latched onto Mason Mount's through ball to score the only goal of the game in May's UEFA Champions League final against Manchester City as the Blues lifted the trophy for the second time in their history.

The German international hasn't always enjoyed consistency since completing his £72million transfer from Bayer Leverkusen last summer as he registered just four goals and three assists in the Premier League last term.

However, the 22-year-old has certainly looked much-improved since Thomas Tuchel arrived at Stamford Bridge in January, often playing as a false nine in the former Paris Saint-Germain boss' favoured 3-4-3 system.

Havertz even played as a second striker on Sunday as the west Londoners dominated Arsenal from minute one, with the talented German taking up positions just behind Belgian frontman Romelu Lukaku in the 2-0 victory.
