As pressure rises on Mikel Arteta, Chelsea is accused of obstructing Arsenal's transfer ambitions.

 



Mikel Arteta did not obtain all of his main targets despite Arsenal spending over £100 million in the summer transfer window. Ben White, a £50 million transfer from Brighton, was the most expensive acquisition. Martin Odegaard, who had been on loan from Real Madrid, made the move permanent. The Gunners' major trouble area this season has been up front, where they have failed to score a single goal in their first three Premier League games.
