Cristiano Ronaldo tipped to become Man Utd manager 'within 18 months'

Following Manchester United's rocky start to the 2021-22 season, pressure is rising on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, and Ronaldo has been suggested as a prospective successor.

Cristiano Ronaldo will take over as Manchester United manager "within 18 months," according to former Tottenham Hotspur manager Tim Sherwood.

Sherwood feels Ronaldo's impact from the bench will be noticed shortly, despite his goals in his first three games back at Old Trafford.

The heat on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is increasing after United fell to West Ham United in the third round of the League Cup, denying him the chance to win a trophy.
