Saul Niguez Chelsea shirt number 'leaked' after last-gasp transfer sealed.
Chelsea left it late to sign Saul Niguez from Atletico Madrid but Thomas Tuchel got his man, with the Spaniard joining on loan with an option to buy next summer
Saul Niguez has dropped a huge hint over what shirt number he will wear at Chelsea after completing a dramatic switch to Stamford Bridge from Atletico Madrid on Deadline Day.
Niguez, 26, was linked with a move away from the Spanish champions all summer but had been expected to join Manchester United or Liverpool, not Chelsea.
But the Blues seized their chance, and as the clock ticked down on the summer transfer window, they managed to finalise a deal for the talented Spanish midfielder.
Chelsea will pay an initial loan fee of £3.4million and will then have the option to but the 26-year-old for £30million at the end of the season.
