Chelsea have a number of players whose first-team prospects look slim but are now set to remain in London until at least January after failed transfer deadline day moves

Chelsea’s transfer dealings came to an end on Tuesday with deadline day marking the end of the 2021 summer window.

The Blues secured a transfer of their own in the form of Atletico Madrid midfielder Saul Niguez, who joins on a season long loan deal. There were also a few outgoings too with the likes of Ethan Ampadu, amongst others, departing.

However, there are a few players that failed to seal a move away from the club and allowing for a switch to some obscure leagues, they are set to remain at Stamford Bridge without the real possibility of any first-team football.
