Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer recently stated that he had support in the transfer market this summer.


Despite the signings of Jadon Sancho, Raphael Varane, and Cristiano Ronaldo to United's squad, Solskjaer's public admission appeared to be more important. That's because it might be interpreted as Solskjaer publicly admitting that he won't make any more excuses this season and that all he has to do is win his first managerial trophy.


After taking over Jose Mourinho's team, which was in shambles after silverware was pursued at the expense of the club's long-term profitability and health, Solskjaer immediately demonstrated that he was the ideal man for the job.
