Chelsea 'make contact' with Wesley Fofana after Antonio Rudiger contract blow
Chelsea have reportedly launched an attempt for Leicester defender Wesley Fofana after failing to sign Antonio Rudiger.
Rudiger's current contract is set to expire in a few months, therefore the Blues are frantically trying to persuade him to extend it.
Rudiger has developed into an influential player and one of the best defenders in the Premier League under Thomas Tuchel's supervision.
However, he has given no indication that he will accept to a new deal at Stamford Bridge, requiring the Blues to take precautions.
According to Foot Mercato, Chelsea is examining Fofana as a possible Rudiger successor.
