Breaking news: Ralf Ragnick says Paul pogba will only leave Manchester United if ....

Interim coach Ralph Rangnick has done little to quieten the rumours over his future by stating that he will not stand in the Frenchman's way if he wants to leave in the summer.

"I wouldn't say [Paul Pogba} is not worth keeping but players need to want to stay and play for the club," said Rangnick in his press conference on Friday.

"If a player doesn't want to play for a club like Manchester United, even in the long term, I don't think it makes sense to convince him to change his mind.

"This is such a massive club, with fantastic support, I don't think anyone at the club should try to convince a player to stay.

The 28-year-old has not featured in Manchester United's last seven matches after sustaining a thigh injury on international duty at the start of November.

The club sent the midfielder to a warm-weather training camp in Dubai to help his recovery, and Ragnick went on to criticise this decision.
